Woman killed in early morning hit-and-run in Oakland

A woman was killed in a hit-and-run early Friday morning in Oakland, police said. Oakland Police responded to the 3200 block of San Pablo Avenue at 2:08 a.m. after reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle. Though police attempted to administer life-saving support, the woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not release any further information.
