BART delays after Lake Merritt station closed Published on July 25, 2019 at 05:45AM by Dianne de Guzman, SFGATE BART lines are seeing delays Wednesday afternoon after a "major medical emergency" is forcing a closure of the Lake Merritt station. The transit agency alerted riders to the closure via social media  about 5:36 p.m., stating there are delays in the Dublin/Pleasanton, Warm Springs, Richmond and Daly City directions. AC Transit will apparently be available for riders, according to the tweet. There is no estimated time of reopening for the station currently, and no indication as to the medical situation happening at the station. This story is developing and we will update as more information becomes available.
