Novato police in manhunt, tell residents to stay indoors

Novato police have asked residents to stay indoors Monday morning as authorities search for several armed robbery suspects who are considered armed and dangerous. The robbery suspects led police on a chase that ended near 777 San Marin Dr., according to the Novato Police Department. Residents in surrounding neighborhoods, including Wood Hollow Drive, were asked to stay indoors and report anything suspicious. Officers used helicopters and foot patrols to search for the suspects, who were not identified. There is no immediate information on what occurred prior to the search.
