Judge: Manafort might spend 'the rest of his life in prison'

Thomson Reuters Paul Manafort, the former campaign manager for President Donald Trump, looks like he might be looking at a lifetime in prison, according to the judge overseeing his case. Manafort was put under "24-hour-a-day lockdown" on Friday by the judge. Manafort has been charged with dozens of crimes by special counsel Robert Mueller in the ongoing investigation into Russian election interference. The district judge assigned to Paul Manafort's case said the gravity and number of charges against President Donald Trump's former campaign manager means he could possibly spent the rest of his life behind bars, according to Politico.
