Restaurant could lose license after telling customers masks 'not required'

A Placerville restaurant is receiving backlash for placing signs around its business the encourage customers to not wear masks as coronavirus cases continue throughout the state. Apple Bistro, an American breakfast restaurant and bakery, hoisted signs around its storefront that told customers, “No social conditioning. No oxygen deprivation mask. No latex dirty germ spreader.” It added, “NOT REQUIRED HERE. THIS MAY NOT BE FOR YOU.”
