The finale of a particularly strange season of “Saturday Night Live” began with the virtual high school graduation of St. Mary Magdalene by the Expressway’s “Class of COVID-19.”
“I know this isn’t how you expected your high school career to come to an end, but we’re all making sacrifices,” said Kate McKinnon, portraying a principal on a Zoom conference call with her teenage graduates. “I have had to share my child’s Adderall with him.”
And though the students were hoping to hear a keynote speech from someone like “that dude from ‘90 Day Fiance’ who looked like a hedgehog” or “the Elon Musk-Grimes baby,” they got Donald Trump (Alex Baldwin) instead.
