Former prosecutor Doug Burns says Smollett case was 'badly mishandled'

The judge in the Jessie Smollett hate crime hoax recused himself from the case on Friday, but it has yet to be decided if there will be a special counsel investigation in a case that has been “very messy,” former federal prosecutor Doug Burns said on “America’s Newsroom” Friday.
