Chris Watts drove 45 minutes with dead wife, 2 daughters, before killing them at oil field: family’s attorney

Christopher Watts, the Colorado man who is serving a life sentence for killing his pregnant wife and two daughters, apparently took the girls on a 45-minute drive to a secluded oil field where he smothered them with one of the girl’s favorite blankets before dumping their bodies in an oil tank and burying his wife in a shallow grave, an attorney for the wife’s family said this week.
