2 stabbed after altercation on BART train

The MacArthur BART station in Oakland was shut down Friday night while police investigated the stabbings of two people, authorities said. The victims, who were aboard a Richmond-bound train, told BART police there had been an altercation on the train, BART spokesman Chris Filippi said. They were being treated at Highland Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The station was closed and trains were not stopping at the station while police investigated.
