Evacuations ordered south of Lake Berryessa due to wildfire

A wildfire that erupted on Saturday afternoon burned structures and prompted evacuations in a neighborhood south of Lake Berryessa, officials said. Residents on Steel Canyon Road between Arroyo Grande Drive and Headlands Drive in the Berryessa Highlands neighborhood were told to evacuate immediately, said Sgt. Pat McMahon with the Napa County Sheriff’s Department. The fire was reported just after 4:30 p.m. and some structures were burning, McMahon said.
