5 injured when hit-run driver plows into pedi-cab on Embarcardero

Five people, including two children, were injured Wednesday when a hit-and-run driver plowed into a pedi-cab along San Francisco’s Embarcadero, officials said. The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. near Sansome Street along the city’s famous promenade, police and fire department officials said. The victims had serious injuries. Two of them were 5 and 8 years old, firefighters said. The suspect driver was last seen in a gold sedan heading toward the Bay Bridge, police said.
