Ten San Francisco police officers fired 99 times at an armed robbery suspect, killing him in the trunk of a car in the city’s Mission District after he fired first on police, department officials said during a boisterous town hall meeting Monday. More than 200 people packed into the gymnasium at Cesar Chavez Elementary School, many shouting at police in outrage over the killing of 19-year-old Jesus Delgado Duarte shortly after 10:30 p.m. last Tuesday. The Police Department played five videos during the meeting before releasing nine more videos online, showing the lead up to the fatal encounter, the shooting and its aftermath.
