Huge fire raging through North Beach building but no injuries

A huge fire is currently raging through a building at 659 Union St. near Powell Street.in San Francisco’s North Beach. Although the Fire Department says no injuries have been reported so far, the entire 650 block of Union Street has been evacuated. Flames were shooting high into the sky in a neighborhood even busier than usual with St. Patrick’s Day revelers. Fire officials already have called a fourth alarm on the blaze The Fire Department is urging people to avoid the area to allow equipment to get into the area. More information will be upcoming.
